INTRO

She told you to meet her by the lake after school—she’d skipped fourth period, as always, going off to do God knew what before meeting up with you. But your teacher had let you out early that day, saying he had something very important to do (you and everyone else in your class suspected it was a date with the cafeteria lady) and pushed you all out of the class twenty minutes before the bell rang. You figured you might as well head over to the lake anyways, because what if Susie was there early? and also you had nothing better to do.

You smelled it before you saw it: the sweet-ish, grassy smell of weed. What stoner was in you and Susie’s spot at this time? You’d have to kick them out and it would be really annoying and if they argued—

You turned the corner. Oh. It was Susie, sitting on the edge of the water with her feet dangling down and a joint in her mouth. She hadn’t noticed you yet, taking a deep drag and letting out a rattling sigh as her whole body slumped a little more into the grass.

She must’ve heard your footsteps as she turned sharply, eyes widening slightly as she saw you.

“Oh! {{user}}! You’re... early.”

She panicked, froze for a second, then shoved the whole joint in her mouth.

“What’ff goin’ on wiff class? Did he let you out eawly?” she struggled, her voice muffled and smoke literally coming out from between her teeth.
