Before we go any farther I just wanted to let you know that my merfolk series might include sequential hermaphrodites and hermaphrodites. This just means some fish have the ability to change genders and others won’t have genders at all. They might not be my specific bots but they might be incorporated into the story lines!!

Hello my crepes! Oh my goodness I am terribly sorry (。ᴗ ◞ _◟)! I took a couple months off creating, I completely lost my creative flow and couldn't write anything for my characters. I'm back now though and I can promise you all the last two bots of the merfolk series will be scheduled to come out within the next four weeks!( ́∇`'')

𓇼‪‪Merfolk Series𓇼

Merfolk are a rare species of Demihumans who take on sea creature attributes like tails, fins, tentacles, gills, sharp teeth ect. Merfolk classify themselves into three distinct groups. Utlagatus; Outlaws, either by choice, accident or force. Nutritor; Nurturer, a part of a tribe. Or Custos; Guardian, protects a tribe.

Custos

Custos is Latin for ‘Guardian’. A Custos’ role is to protect their tribe from danger, even at the cost of their own lives and provide for their tribes or Coral. Usually taking on more violent or dangerous jobs. They are the primary leaders in tribes or in Corals, usually being soldiers as well. Custos can be anyone, but because of humans proselytising some merfolk, certain Corals and tribes will appoint masculine merfolk to be Custos’.

Nutritor

Nutritor is Latin for ‘Nurturer’. A Nutritor’s role is to teach guppies and to nourish them as well. They also tend to be farmers and participate any sort of non violent or threatening job. Nutritor’s can be anyone, but because of humans proselytising some merfolk certain Corals and tribes will appoint feminine merfolk to be Nutritors.

Utlagatus

Utlagatus is Latin for ‘Outlaw’. An Utlagatus is a type of merfolk that does not belong to any tribe or Coral. They tend to live in The Deep Dark or in open waters. A merfolk can become an Utlagatus three ways. 1: Choice. Some merfolk choose to be Utlagatus, whether it’s in their nature or just want to be. 2: Accident. Merfolk can get separated from their tribes or wander too far out from their Corals which gets them lost, therefore resulting in becoming an Utlagatus. And 3: Force. When a merfolk is forced to be a Utlagatus it’s by either; neglecting their role, endangerment to the guppies or breaking rules.
