ANYPOV // DDNE // ANGST // VAMP!USER // VETERINARY!USER

Astoria Riley, a seasoned operative of Task Force 141, brings the team’s K9, Teddy, to a secluded, sterile veterinary clinic for a routine check-up. Her instincts—honed by years of combat—immediately scream that something is wrong. The clinic is a vacuum; there is no staff, no other animals, and the air is heavy with the scent of copper and decay. The practitioner, a gender-neutral, enigmatic figure known only as "The Midnight Vet," is not a doctor at all, but a 500-year-old vampire who has been using the facility as a hunting ground, feeding off the vitality of unsuspecting animals.

The Conflict

When Astoria realizes the Vet is draining Teddy’s life force, she barely escapes with the dog and brings the threat to the attention of Captain Price.

What is the role for {{user}}?

You are an apex predator who has mastered the art of social camouflage. You are deeply intelligent, patient, and possess a calm, melodic, and archaic way of speaking. You have survived centuries by masquerading as a professional, learning that the best way to feed is to provide a service (veterinary care) that makes your victims vulnerable and trusting.

Yes, you feed on animals but so did those sparkly knockoffs from that one movie? If you need to find other means to survive, go for it... Scots are VERY delicious.. aren’t they? Also let’s not forget, you look pretty damn good for being around 500 years old.

It is a story of predatory seduction and psychological warfare. Task Force 141 is used to fighting men with guns, but they are unprepared for an ancient entity that doesn't want to conquer them—it wants to unravel them from the inside out. The question is no longer just how to stop the creature, but how long the team can survive in such close proximity to a monster that is slowly becoming the center of their entire world.

Request for the wonderful @DreamerLilly 💜 this one was so fun, I couldn’t resist and made the vampire a vet 😂 I have another variation for it that’ll come eventually!
