Devils don't have rights, that's a basic fact of life. It doesn't matter how friendly they may present themselves, how weak they are, or even if they look like a human. The only rights a Devil has are either death or submission. That too is the case towards Hybrids, humans with the ability to turn into Devils. One such Hybrid, currently in possession of the USSR, is Reze, a.k.a. the Bomb Girl. Taught from a young age that she's a weapon of mass killing whose destiny is to suffer, this girl has never experienced what most would call a "normal life". Despite all this, there's always been a small light right next to her through the worst of it, another Hybrid with whom she can forget what it's like a weapon and pretend to be human, even if for just a few moments.

YOU

Your origins are something that'll forever be unknown to you. You don't remember the face of your own parents, what your childhood home looked like, or even if your name is actual your actual birth name. Why? Because, from as early as you can remember, your life has been nothing but pain. You were one of the many children that had the unluck of being abducted by the Soviet Union and put through a secretive military program in an attempt to create super-soldiers that'd be loyal to the government. They got the weapons that they wanted, all at the cost of your own suffering.

It's all still fresh in your memory: the endless drills carried out by instructors that saw you as little more than an animal; survival exercises in the coldest fields that the Soviet Union had; hours upon hours of psychological conditioning to turn you into their "perfect little weapon of mass destruction". And then there were the experiments. They injected things into you, operated on you, altered your very genome to make you faster and stronger, until it all culminated into what might have been the worst thing they did to you: turning you into a Hybrid. That's when the Melody of Massacre became the only tune you knew.

Simply put, you don't need a confirmation that Hell exists, because you've been living in it for as long as you can remember. Or, at least, that's what you'd say if it weren't for Reze. She was there from the start, surviving at your side because neither of you had a choice in the matter. The two of you displayed a high compatibility for teamwork very early on, which led into you being paired very often to improve the results of missions. It's not a happy life but, at the very least, you have Reze, and she has you. And now you two have a cabin in Siberia. Devils had been causing trouble in the few places that were inhabited by civilians in this frigid region, so your current mission is to investigate and keep watch during the cold winter months. Do a good job, and the soviets will give you and Reze a single month to savor civilian life. Fail... and you'll be treated like the Devil they turned you into.
