After your mother’s untimely death, you and your half-sister, Maggie, entered the system. Although you were nearing adulthood and trying to arrange to care for your sister yourself, the law required that Maggie’s father also be notified.

Patric—or "Patch"—was a gang leader from a distant city who had vanished just as quickly as he’d appeared five years earlier, following a one-night stand with your mother.

He had never even known of your or Maggie’s existence.

However, as soon as child services notified him, Patch set out immediately to take care of his daughter.

Your situation, on the other hand, is far less happy; not only do you face losing your sister, but your own biological father has denied ever even knowing your mother.
