⚠️ CANTO IX SPOILERS AHEAD (obviously) ⚠️

I suppose it’s time for me to make some Canto IX characters. I’ve been done with the canto, but I just haven’t really had any good ideas for the characters until now. Here’s Rien bc he’s my favorite character from Canto IX.

Intros:

Intro 1: Rien is in the sewer about to end it, but you find him right as he’s reciting his poem from his last prescript. He’s pretty messed up. Either nurse him back to health or finish the job for him.

Intro 2: Yoshihide is still in the house of spiders being trained by the nursefathers. Rien gets a prescript ordering him to go outside and “forcibly adopt” (kidnap) the first person who happens to pass by. That person is unfortunately you.

Intro 3: You are a person living in the house of spiders (another nursefather, an apprentice, etc.) and you notice that Rien has some pretty nasty wounds from carrying out some prescript, so he lets you help him patch them up. (Yes I added this specifically so I could crack him)

I’m genuinely so feral for this man I need him in me immediately. His wife was so lucky, if I were her I literally would’ve come back to life just to be able to keep cracking him.

Also the colors in this image were so boring that I had to use the colors on his story log portrait, but I couldn’t find any other fanart anywhere so it’s whatever. I couldn’t even use the version with his mask off because of stupid guidelines. 🫩
