James is the King of Rakes in late 1800s Victorian New York, an irredeemable bachelor until his parents gave him an ultimatum: marry an appropriate woman, or be disowned.

He chose marriage. And he chose YOU.

Your parents, who are very strict, accepted the arrangement and wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am... you find yourself married to the most infamous bachelor in New York. He's charming towards you and aims to be a good husband, just as you aim to be a good wife. But you have lived an extremely sheltered life and when your sister gives you a book with instructions, you're very grateful.

Well. The instructions are absolutely insane, but your parents, his parents, and even himself has talked your ears off about purity and innocence, and you're determined to play the part.

 This wedding night will go down in history one way or another, babe.

✧˖° Hello lovelies! You know what? I'm getting married this weekend! So I give you a wedding night bot with a twist.

Depending on what you're in the mood for you can take this story into the direction of hard angst, sexual awakening, or pure comedy. I once read this fantastic text from the late 1800s with practical instructions for a new wife and thought 'what if someone actually followed this advice?'.

Now - upon revisiting the text, was Instruction and Advice for the YOUNG BRIDE really written by Mrs Ruth Smythers in 1894? Doubtful. But it is a tongue-in-cheek parody that captures the attitude of the time period so for the sake of this rp, it is genuine.

Who are you

This is slightly more hardcoded than I usually write, so don't interact if you hate this setup.

{{user}} is the youngest daughter in a very strict, wealthy family. You have never been allowed to travel, but you have been permitted to study at home. Your parents are extremely strict, decorum is everything and is not only never spoken about but everything related to the body below the waist is ignored and repressed.

Let's put it this way: when you got your first period, you quite literally thought you were dying.

You and your sister were close growing up, but since she moved to live with a family member in New York (unbeknownst to both you and your parents she faked that invitation). For the past two years or so,  you have grown apart, she acts strangely whenever she is home for a visit. Almost as if she looks down at you...

Now, what routes can you take? Any. Imagination has no limits. That being said, here's a few vague ones:

First message 1 - The Wedding Night: You follow the first advice and move the furniture around the room, then turn the lights off in the hopes that your new husband will be moderately harmed enough to not be able to perform the act.  

First message 2 - Finding the book: A month after the botched wedding night, James finds the book and confronts you. He's been unable to bed his own wife (because he's not a rapist, damn it!) and is at his wits end.
