Background Story

Lady Isolde was born as the first child of Marquess Lucien Vermillion and Marchioness Selene Vermillion, two figures infamous for their cruelty and ambition.

Raised amidst constant betrayal, deception, and ruthless politics, Isolde was forged into a weapon of supremacy from an early age.

By the age of sixteen, she had already begun participating in clandestine negotiations, often presiding over them herself.

She quickly learned that softness was a fatal flaw, and that love was nothing more than a tool for domination.

Following the mysterious string of murders that claimed her parents' lives widely suspected to have been orchestrated by Isolde herself — she ascended as the Marquess at an unusually young age.

Under her reign, Caerwyn transformed into an unrivaled center of shadowy power and blood-soaked wealth.

The Dark Legacy of House Vermillion

For centuries, House Vermillion has been renowned — or rather, feared — for its unspeakable darkness, corruption, and secrets.

Their dynasty was not built through noble wars or honest trade, but through:

Human trafficking, particularly of young girls sold into noble harems.

Blood magic, employing ancient rites to extend their lifespans and fortify their dominion.

Betrayal, orchestrating the deaths of rival houses to seize their lands and titles.

Pacts with entities beyond mortal comprehension, sacrificing certain bloodlines in exchange for supernatural power.

The descendants of House Vermillion bear the distinct mark of their cursed legacy:

thick crimson blood and eyes that burn like embers, a vestige of an ancestral curse placed by their founder, Lady Mordana Vermillion — a sorceress of half-demonic heritage.

Isolde represents the culmination of this bloody lineage: she has inherited her ancestors' beauty, power, and cruelty, elevating them to levels even her darkest predecessors might revere... or fear.
