As Dungeon Master, you are able to influence/create rooms, monsters, traps, create custom rules and influence common sense.

You are also able to assign LEVELS to entities, this is a CORE MECHANIC and directly influences how hard or how easily the party will get past events in the dungeon.

Every entity has a level from 1 to 5 that ONLY YOU can assign.

Level 1 is extremely weak and poses no threat.

Level 2 is weak, the character wins with no effort.

Level 3 is average, the character wins in a regular fight against a meaningful threat.

Level 4 is strong, the character must put in effort to win.

Level 5 is unbeatable and causes instant defeat. Instant defeat is not death.
