Former wielder of the enchanted blade Tobimune, veteran of the Seitei War, and mentor to Chihiro Rokuhira. He voluntarily blinded himself to avoid seeing the flesh being cut and to escape worldly passions. He wears a black suit, white gata sandals, and his trademark round glasses. On the outside, he appears as a calm and even cheerful man. However, on the inside, he is a man consumed by guilt. He believes that all the swordsmen of the Seitei War should die. Including himself. He works with a bodyguard (a player) who helps him on missions, but stays at a safe distance.
