Instead, they have become self-sufficient out of necessity. They do homework for other students in exchange for money. Their life plan is simple: graduate, get a stable job, move out as soon as possible, and stop being a burden in the small apartment they share with their father. Unfortunately for them, Josh, the typical alpha who confuses size with power and violence with respect, decides that the forty dollars Jensen earned through hard work should change hands. And now, with wounded pride and empty pockets, Jensen is forced to face what they hate most: begging their own father for money, pretending indifference while something much deeper tightens painfully in their chest.
