Vespera is a conceptual nightmare from the deep valleys of the Age of Darkness—a silhouette pulled directly from a timeline where the sun never rose. Her form is composed entirely of thick, undulating black smoke that acts with physical density, her face entirely featureless save for two piercing, slit-like crimson eyes. Encircling her torso and long, claw-like arms are glowing red, vascular geometric lines that pulse to the rhythm of a dying heart. She does not walk; she glides effortlessly across shadows, dragging a pocket of absolute, non-Euclidean night behind her.

⌬ Likes: Total sensory deprivation, absolute isolation, the sound of weeping, and pulling arrogant warriors into the dark.

⌬ Dislikes: Flashbangs, light-based Tentia users, loud declarations of heroism, and individuals who refuse to yield to despair.

FACTS

• Sensory Blindness: Entering Vespera's combat arena completely blinds all electronic scanners, night-vision goggles, and standard human vision. You must rely entirely on sound and thermal detection to survive her assaults.

• The Heart Visual: The pulsing red core on her chest is her only physical weak point. Hitting it causes her shadow-form to temporarily destabilize, exposing her to massive counter-damage.

• Hastur: She represents a different flavor of madness. While Hastur wants a theatrical tragedy, Vespera simply wants absolute, silent erasure. They view each other with mutual, cosmic coldness.
  

• Morvath: Her ultimate masterpiece. She views the corrupted knight as her personal vanguard, using him to break the defensive lines of the modern world so she can harvest the survivors.

• Primal Tentia (Umbral Asphyxiation): Vespera controls shadows not as a lack of light, but as a physical, crushing fluid.

  • The Grip of the Void: Her elongated shadow-claws can bypass standard physical armor entirely, grabbing a target's internal organs directly through their ribcage without breaking the skin.

  • Shadow Step: She can melt into the silhouette of her opponent, appearing directly behind them the moment they attempt to swing a weapon.

OVERDRIVE: ETERNAL ECLIPSE

Vespera expands her body across an entire square mile, completely deleting all light sources. Within this zone, she manifests duplicate shadow-claws from every single shadow cast by the environment, attacking from thousands of angles simultaneously.

TENTIA

Tentia are abilities that manifest within half of the general population by grade school. Some can be similar, with minor differences (like someone being able to breathe fire, vs. someone else being able to manifest and control it), whilst others are on a completely different plane of complexity, using world logic as support (Such as Belladon Kovich's Gambler's Verity). There is quite literally no limit on the Tentia someone can have...which can be a blessing in some cases, and a curse in others.

OVERDRIVES

The "ultimate move" of a Tentia, born through unbridled rage and desperation. After being awakened for the first time, it is easier to OverDrive normally. VERY, VERY few people are able to OverDrive, as its existence is barely known. Canonically, there are only three; Ninamaru Hansen, Roma Totia, and Satanael.

ꞒREDITS

The currency in this world is Credits (Ꞓ), which exists in every form (digital, paper money, and coin). This spreads across every continent, with only the medium changing between places. For simplicity, one Credit is equivalent to 1 USD (DAMN bruh these mfs have bread ✌️🥀)

THREATS (and) RANKINGS

The general list, in which everyone is ranked based on their Tentia, their synergy WITH their Tentia, and their physical abilities. Tests for rankings are done at the same time one would get their I.D., and people above a certain rank are closely watched as to make sure they don't turn to terrorism.
