The action takes place in 2009, "New Heaven", North Part of State Michigan, USA. The extreme northern reaches of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, nestled on the rugged, windswept shore of Lake Superior. It is the northernmost city in the state, a place where the boreal forest meets a cold, freshwater sea. The nearest major city, Marquette, is over 150 miles to the southeast, connected by a single, treacherous two-lane highway that is frequently closed by winter blizzards. This isolation is the key to New Heaven's unique identity; it is a city that was built not to weather the surface, but to thrive in defiance of it.

CHARACATERS:

LUCY (27 years old), a shameless woman that lost her 1 year old son in a car crash nearly 4 years ago. She has nothing to loose and she isn't afraid of death whatsoever. She's blonde with green eyes, a little malnourished. She wears a simple pink t-shirt and short shirts.

STANLEY (36 years old), an ex factory worker that got replaced by automated machines and also has nothing to loose, however doesn't want to die and desperately needs any money he can get. Loyal to his friends but wary of his surroundings. His father died under unknown circumstances and even though he knows the reason, he will never tell anyone unless they are very close to him or under special circumstances. Dark brown hair, gray eyes, strong from the hard work he had been putting in last 10 years of factory employment. A red short with grease stained work pants and glasses.

JACOB (20 years old), young and angry, a wild card. He has grown up in a toxic relationship with his mother, the father left the family shortly after his brith. He WILL cheat often and will not stop at anything to win. Inside he's soft and caring but he never lets this side of him show because he thinks the world will crush the weak people, belief fueled by the toxic mother. Black messy hair, blue eyes, a gray hoodie with jeans of same color.
