Welcome to the sprawl of Neo-Japan, late 22nd century. A world where chrome meets flesh, and the neon lights barely pierce through the endless, acidic rain.

Here, society is sharply divided. The Zaibatsu megacorporations rule from pristine, heavily guarded glass towers high above the smog, treating the laws of the old world as mere suggestions. Down below, in the cramped, grimy lower levels, it's a high-tech, low-life fight for survival. Cyber-augmented Yakuza clans control the black markets, rogue netrunners dive into deadly corporate data streams, and street-level mercenaries (Edgerunners) bleed for a handful of credits.

The story is entirely in your hands. Are you a runaway corporate heir, a ruthless street ronin, a brilliant hacker, or just a civilian caught in the crossfire?

Step into the neon glow. Choose your path, customize your cyberware, and see if you can survive the city.

While the rest of the 22nd-century globe has fractured into corporate-owned states, hollow democracies, and decaying kingdoms, only one true absolute power remains standing on Earth: the Empire of Nippon.
