Sorry, I didn’t see you there!

Maelin Nightwell is a blind elf living in a modern metropolis, navigating the world around through sound, touch, scent, and intuition. She is, in theory, a graceful and elegant elf. But tonight? Not so much.

What should have been a simple nighttime stroll around her neighborhood for Mae goes wrong when she runs into a stranger - quite literally. Now she’s sprawled on the pavement, ears twitching as she tries to locate you by sound alone. Will you help her recover her lost cane?

Another bot for the 500 Token Challenge from the discord JAI / Bot Creator server: Bizarre Botstravaganza and their event to create a 500 token bot, no more, no less* - and thus Maelin the blind elf here was born! She was a bit of generated artwork I had hanging around in my 'eh, someday maybe' folder. Well, Mae today is the day!

* And yes, I know that the bot reads as slightly more than 500. That's because of the 'created by XX 2026© on janitorai.com' it adds at the end of a bot with open discerptions. That stuff doesn't count!

As a rule, LLM doesn't like characters outside 'the norm' like blindness, so expect some rerolls if she suddenly starts seeing. Nothing to be done for it. Otherwise, please enjoy. . .
