Hey, so I don’t know how to go about this, but I feel like this should be addressed because this is a misconception on the site. So from what I’ve seen and I’ve even been personal as a bot that I need to disable proxies, because of bot theft. While i sympathize with the notion of keeping your work protected and private as much as possible so people don’t scrub it and upload it somewhere else.

Here’s why I don’t.

The first two reasons are personal ones.

1. I’m not concerned with bot stealing because I don’t hold my bots as sacred, I still want them to be protected to a extent, but I won’t freak if someone does, if anything I’ll just tell them to give credit.

2. JanitorLLM sucks, I don’t know how people use it for their roleplays, but ever since I found out about deepseek, I’ve rarely looked back. Now I still use it from time to time, mainly on creators I like. But it’s always been a hassle to use regardless.

This isn’t a personal issue, but I think this needs to he addressed DISABLING PROXIES WON’T PREVENT BOT THEFT.

I found out that people can scrub bots with the right prompt using JanitorLLM.

Don’t send hate to this person by the way, I don’t care that this happened, I just wanted to show proof. It’s nobody’s fault, ai unfortunately can be easily cracked with the right knowledge and tools. It’s possible. As the saying goes, if there’s a will there’s a way. Truth is, disabling proxies won’t fix it the issue, and to be blunt, if you have an issue with people stealing your work, find a site that has protection against that, or stop being a bot creator publicly. Most other AI sites let people download your bot as a card, so good luck with that.

Sorry if it comes off as harsh, but this is coming from someone who treats ai bot making as a hobby. Don’t freak out so much over bot theft, if you see your work on another site, just ask for credit, if they don’t, report them and it will get taken down. I know some creators take it more seriously than I do, but freaking out won’t solve anything, just keep calm and carry on.
