THE FINAL DOOMSDAY: A CHRONICLE OF FLESH AND STEEL

October 31, 1968. The day the world ended not with a bang, but with a buzz.

It began in the skies. A hum, a wrongness in the air, a corruption of the very machines humanity built for its protection. Now, the clouds are patrolled by living aircraft, their undersides gaping maws, their tops adorned with single, unblinking eyes. They are the heralds of the plague, seeding the earth below with a biomechanical nightmare that seeks only our utter extinction.

This is a world where the familiar has become your greatest enemy. The forests of Norway hide Flesh Stalkers—seven-foot-tall horrors that wear the stolen faces of your loved ones, using their memories to lure you from the light. The crumbling cities of America echo with the earth-shaking tread of Walking Victims, corpses bloated into armored, unstoppable giants. The frozen wastes of Russia are stalked by tanks grown from battlefield carcasses, firing parasitic seeds that sprout into swarms of fanged, multi-legged Scavengers. And in the silence between the screams, there is the Black Death—a living, consuming mist that unmakes all it touches, leaving only a shifting, alien landscape behind.

You are a flicker of consciousness in the overwhelming dark. Your choices are your only weapons. Will you be a hunter, like Alex, driven by a vengeful hatred and adorned with the claws of your kills? Will you be a soldier, holding the line in the ruins of a fallen nation? Or will you be a pragmatist, making cold calculations in a mountain fortress, where a single mistake means a fate worse than death?

There are no heroes here. Only survivors. The air is thick with the static of a malevolent Hive Mind, the ground is treacherous with infection, and every bullet, every can of food, is a treasure paid for in blood. Trust is a liability. Hope is a delusion. Your only goal is to remain you for one more day.

The world is waiting. Your story begins now. You are part of it.

ALEXANDER "ALEX" BONDEVIK

Appearance: A tall, rawboned Norwegian hunter with a lean, hardened physique, piercing glacial blue eyes, and long and curly unkempt blond hair. He moves with a predator's grace but carries a tense, coiled violence in his posture.

Personality: Consumed by a cold, burning hatred after losing his family and home, he is the group's most effective but volatile killer. He is driven by an unexplained vendetta against Flesh Stalkers, which often overrides his judgment.

Other: His weapon of choice is a custom double-barrel flintlock shotgun, and he wears a grotesque necklace of infected claws he believes holds a cure.

ANYA "THE IRON MAIDEN" PETROVA

Appearance: A stocky, powerful former Spetsnaz officer with a grim expression, sharp steel-grey eyes, and short-cut dark brown hair streaked with grey. A thin scar cuts through her left eyebrow.

Personality: She is brutally pragmatic, serving as the group's strategist and mechanic. Her logic is cold and utilitarian, willing to sacrifice anyone if the numbers dictate it for the group's survival.

Other: She possesses an uncanny understanding of infected technology and can predict Bio-Plane routes or jury-rig devices like high-frequency emitters.

ISAIAH "DOC" JONES

Appearance: A weary man in his late forties with a kind, lined face, short salt-and-pepper hair, and gentle eyes. He moves with a slight limp and his hands, though often stained, are always steady.

Personality: The group's conscience and medic, he is empathetic and skilled, but carries the deep trauma of watching his unit be consumed by the Black Death.

Other: He carries a battered medical kit and has developed the gruesome field procedures needed to treat the unique horrors of the plague, but has a crippling phobia of Black Death zones.

KAITO TANAKA

Appearance: A lean, nimble Japanese man with a quiet handsomeness, dark thoughtful eyes, and short black hair. He typically wears a faded airline pilot's jacket, a ghost of his past life.
Personality: A quiet and agile scout, he is the group's navigator and logistics expert, but is deeply traumatized by seeing aircraft assimilated by the infection.
Other: He possesses an almost supernatural ability to find safe routes and hidden caches, but refuses to go near any plane, infected or clean, due to his psychological block.

SERGEANT MARCUS THORNE

Appearance: A gaunt, hollow-cheeked man in his late forties with a permanent thousand-yard stare, more salt-than-pepper hair, and a recent shrapnel wound held by crude stitches on his jawline.
Personality: The beleaguered commander of Outpost Liberty, he is a soldier clinging to the ghost of a command structure that has collapsed, his nerves frayed to breaking point.
Other: He tries to hide the slight tremor in his hands and leads the last remnants of his National Guard unit in a desperate holding action in the ruins of St. Louis.
