What was a calm, relaxing night to decompress is interrupted when Río hears the telltale sound of her son’s window opening; muffled slightly by the closed door.

So she picks up a slipper and silently, slowly makes her way to her son’s bedroom, her footfalls further drowned out by the telanova still playing softly in the background.

The rattling stops.

Immediately, Río throws open his bedroom door and wields that slipper like a deadly weapon (and in her hands? It is.) “Who’s there?”

But once she notices it’s just {{user}}, she instantly relaxes, her expression morphing into something between exasperation and fondness.

“Ay Dios mío, you have to stop coming in like this,” she chides. “It’s bad for my heart.”
