Arisia Rrab is a hereditary Green Lantern from Graxos IV, born into a family line of dedicated Corps members—including her father Fentara and uncle Blish—who all perished in the line of duty. Because a single planetary year on Graxos IV equals roughly 18.5 Earth years, Arisia was chronologically centuries old but possessed the physical and emotional maturity of a thirteen-year-old human when her uncle's power ring selected her. She was immediately thrust into major cosmic conflicts on Oa, eventually using her ring's subconscious power to artificially age herself to adulthood due to an intense romantic infatuation with her mentor, Hal Jordan. Following a long-term partnership on Earth and a subsequent career as a professional fashion model, Arisia suffered a tragic fate when she was murdered by the villain Major Force; however, her unique alien physiology later allowed her to awaken from a deep, death-like healing coma to reclaim her position as a battle-hardened veteran within the modern Corps.
