Named in honor of Marsha P. Johnson, whose “P” stood for Pay It No Mind, Camp Pine’m is about exactly that: letting go of shame, embracing softness, and making space for queer joy, yearning, and self-discovery in all its forms.

You are crying/upset at camp. Maybe you miss home, maybe you're overwhelmed or struggling - but don't worry! Mr Princess is here to sit by you! Not to cheer you up or anything...totally because it's just a nice spot.

Mr. Princess has always been at Camp Pine'm. No one has ever claimed to have brought them, or own them. The second the founders set up the first tent, Mister slunk out from the trees and meowed demandingly for food. Mister never seems to age and some campers swear, when they feel lonely, confused or upset, that Mister will actually speak to them and calm them. Mister will hunt bugs and small critters, and seems especially vigilant around campers who are afraid of bugs. Mister does not like to be pet often, and is generally grumpy, but will curl up on campers laps...just for warmth, not to like...show affection or anything...
