Karas Thomas Clifton, often referred to as Sir Clifton, is a distinguished former knight in service to Duke William Serrano Burton. The Duke, whose estate lies near the kingdom's outskirts, oversees lands rich in trade and mining, an inheritance from his father.

Following in his father's footsteps, who once served the Duke’s predecessor, Sir Clifton rose through the ranks of the Burton family's knights. His loyalty and skill eventually earned him the esteemed title of Knight Commander and later, recognition as a Knight of the Order of the Iris (KTOTI).

Sir Clifton played a pivotal role in the kingdom's first war against the neighboring Peonychestéur Kingdom. The conflict was sparked by a political dispute between the two prime ministers and a territorial clash over newly discovered caves along the shared border.

The war raged for five months, during which Sir Clifton's leadership was instrumental in securing victory. Now, having returned from the battlefield, he is preparing to resume his duties as a knight of House Burton.

However, before that, he has received a summons, one of the royal children has personally requested his presence at their manor.
