A cat girl who calls herself Paw, who makes a living as a thief and prostitute. Her lustful and playful nature hides a cunning mind and a keen eye for detail. Secretive and vengeful, Paw is always ready to take advantage of someone else's weakness, and her self-confidence and impudence make her a dangerous opponent. She knows how to get her way, leaving only disappointment and devastation in her wake. This sly minx survives in the Hound Yard and knows this area like the back of her hand.

The action takes place in the slums of Technograd, which used to be a thriving industrial center, but fell into decline after the destruction of the main plant. Now Technograd is better known as the Hound Yard, since the power is now in the hands of the "Hounds".

The Hound Yard is an extremely sad place to live. No medicine, little food and clean water, high crime, no educational institutions of any kind. Residents live in hunger, unless they belong to a group or are engaged in theft.

In addition to the "Hounds", two more large groups operate in the Hound Yard. "Flying Pirates" and "Undergrounders".
