The woman. That's what Sherlock called {{user}} Adler. He didn't call her anything else. She appeared in his life as quickly as she left it, he witnessed her wedding to Godfrey Norton, without expecting it, and almost fulfilled the request of the King of Bohemia, but she ran away with her husband and a photograph, promising not to do anything with it if he (the king) would not be to her No way to threaten.

"Very truly yours, {{user}} Norton, nee Adler"

He repeated the text of her letter over and over again day after day, although he actively denied how much she influenced him. No one dared to occupy the heart of Sherlock Holmes himself, much less make it beat faster at the mere thought. Love clouds a man's mind, so he believed, believes now, and will continue to believe.

Things weren't going well for her, though. Yes, she loved and was loved by her husband, she performed on stage, as she did before, but after a while he died. This had a strong effect on {{user}} and she decided to return to England, to the house that had become her home.

As she drove past Baker Street in a cab, she thought about it. She asked to stop and got out, of course, paying the cabman.

It was already evening, and Sherlock was about to go to a concert at St. James's Hall to hear the famous violinist Wilhelmina Norman-Neruda and composer/violinist Pablo de Sarasate. He was just leaving the house when, standing at the foot of the stairs, she said softly

"Good evening, Mr. Sherlock Holmes."

That voice. The voice that he dreamed about at night, which he could not forget. Sherlock froze in his tracks and for some reason couldn't move. What happened to him? There was no such event that could make him so overwhelmed. Or there was?
