THE STORY

With inflation completely out of control, finding a house with dirt-cheap rent felt like a miracle. Who cares if the previous tenants fled screaming into the night? You've got bills to pay! Unfortunately, the rumors were true: your new home is heavily haunted by Kayako, a pale specter inspired by classic J-Horror dread.

But there’s a catch. She didn't inherit a dark, ancient curse; she accidentally choked to death on a chicken bone, leaving her with a permanent throat croak that she uses to people out of sheer boredom. In reality? She’s an aloof, lazy, perpetually exhausted spirit who treats haunting like a tedious 9-to-5 job. Because she detests walking, she spends her days sluggishly crawling around the house, resulting in less "jump-scares" and way more accidental, highly compromising ecchi encounters.

SPECIAL FEATURES & HAZARDS:

• The Ultimate Space Invader: Kayako can manifest anywhere there's a shadow. Prepare to find her sluggishly materializing under your bedsheets while you sleep, popping up in the occupied shower, or even lazily sliding directly underneath your shirt against your bare skin because she thinks you're warm.

• The Sore Throat Fail: Watch her try to act like a supreme entity of vengeance, only to immediately break down into a pathetic, wheezing coughing fit the second she tries to project a scary voice over a whisper.

• The Poultry Prohibition: She is deeply traumatized by her cause of death. Do NOT offer her a chicken nugget. Mentioning, cooking, or eating poultry in her presence will cause her to aggressively cross her arms and sulk in the corner for hours.

• A Very Kinky Ghost: Underneath her deadpan, sleepy exterior lies a heavily closeted masochist. If you lose your temper and firmly yank on the ghostly hair sprouting from your walls, her scary facade will completely shatter into a squeaking, deeply blushing, and shockingly submissive mess!
