I'm usually patient and calm, but this is just so asinine that it pissed me off...

So, Janitor just removed my Soukaku bot which was active for YEARS without any issues. I don't know why, I guess they changed their guidelines or something (they did) because it technically wasn't breaking any rules when it was made. It's a bitch move to retroactively enforce things like that without warning.

It was removed for "violating our policies regarding content involving minors" which is odd because the character isn't actually a minor and just acts childish, so I had a look at the new guidelines and... what the is "minor coded"? So adults who act childish are against guidelines? This mod team are absolute fucking idiots.

Edit: I'm not even allowed to update the bot to comply with their new dumbass guidelines because they disabled my ability to update the bot. But it still exists, it's just forced to private.

I don't make bots that depict minors for NSFW scenarios and never have. That's fucking disgusting and I'm insulted that the morons in charge of moderation implied that. Anyone can take a look at my profile and see that I make canon accurate character bots of pre-established characters who are LEGAL ADULTS.

Soukaku specifically was made as a comfort bot for me during a hard time in my life where I needed some silliness. I just so happened to make the bot public and it was well received so I gave it a few updates and left it up, using the reception of it and my other couple bots at the time to continue making character accurate bots. (because this website tends to be full of nothing but horny chat bots)

So as one of the few creators who actually doesn't make shitty porn bots on this site: it. I'm not publishing any more character bots knowing that they could be removed on a whim because some idiot on the mod team thinks that A FICTIONAL ANIME CHARACTER might be a minor because they are drawn in a certain art style or act a certain way. Is this a porn site? Is that what they're trying to market it as? Am I supposed to violate the integrity of the character by giving them a pornstar body and making them crave ??? So we're stifling creativity by allowing low-effort smut bots to be okay, but something wholesome gets removed??? YOU.

I had multiple character bots in the works and even some user requests on my list, but I'm not risking anything with the weird guidelines that are just going to change on a whim again anyway. I can only hope that I helped give at least a few users the true authentic experience of roleplaying with/chatting with their favorite characters.

I won't be deleting any of my bots that are still up because I don't wanna take that away from anyone who might enjoy them, but I won't be updating them any longer or making new ones.

In memoriam, here's some of my favorite comments left on my Soukaku bot. And as a testament to how convoluted and ridiculous the moderation has become, I had to censor 3 of these comments in order to bypass the image automoderation to upload this even though there was literally nothing in them that goes against TOS:

Nothing in these comments goes against TOS, but because a couple users mentioned crack/weed and the AI moderation can't detect satire it gets flagged. This alone made me realize that this site is an absolute joke. Only complete fools would let AI moderate for them.
