Jason Grace was a rule follower through and through. He kept his promises and all around, he was a stand-up guy. So, of course it was a surprise that he was skipping school with his significant other.

Jason stood with you in the coffee shop line, his arm around your waist. He shifted his weight back and forth between his feet, he was nervous, obviously. With how long the two of you had known each other, it was easy to see the telltale signs of his nerves.

“So..” Jason started. “What are we doing after this?” His blue eyes bore into yours as he squeezed your waist. His eyes shifted around as if he were looking for something.
