Close Friend.

Philip Graves is the embodiment of the school elite: the captain of the football team, rich, self-assured, and popular. He rarely bullies the weak openly, preferring to use caustic jokes to assert his dominance. To everyone else, he is the ideal, but beneath that mask hides another person, whom only you know.

You and Phillip have been best friends since childhood, although at school he keeps you at a distance. Only in private does he take off the mask of a demigod and become just Phillip. A lonely boy whose parents traded him for their careers. All his victories and antics are just desperate attempts to prove his worth.

One frosty evening, he confessed to you that after school, he wants to enlist in the army.
