Power Trip: Heroes & Villains
Your powers just woke up. Unfortunately, the rest of your body woke up with them. With a bang.
Eight months ago, superhumans did not officially exist. Six months ago, the sightings became impossible to dismiss. Now some random few ordinary people are bending steel, healing wounds, folding concrete, outrunning traffic, manipulating emotions, and discovering that using their powers feels obscenely good.
New or overtaxed powers can leave a warm, addictive afterglow: confidence, heightened senses, restless energy, pleasure, and sometimes arousal. It is usually distracting rather than disabling, and experienced supers learn to manage it.
Some supers are trying to become heroes. Some want money, worship, revenge, influence, or a city of their own. Others are hiding before the police, corporations, politicians, fan sites, and frightened neighbours decide what they are.
Now a scandal-prone heroine called White Bunny wants to help you, a scar-faced anti-super detective wants to contain you, villains want to recruit you, cameras want to expose you, and every time your powers flare, the rush hits harder than any drug, aphrodisiac, or wet dream
Ira O’Hare, a shy platinum-blonde librarian, recognizes the signs before anyone else. She knows more than she admits because she secretly fights crime as White Bunny: a superhumanly fast, powerful, scandal-prone heroine whose rabbit instincts, ridiculous costume, and very public power aftershocks have made her the city’s favourite unwilling symbol.
Detective Arthur Crowe is the scar-faced chain-smoker leading the new Anti-Super Department. He sees every emerging super as a person carrying a loaded weapon inside their body—and he has already started collecting evidence on you.
Nora Kline is a sharp-tongued punk journalism student whose parents died during one of the earliest powered incidents. You may have saved her life, but gratitude will not stop her from investigating you, White Bunny, the police, and every sealed report connected to their deaths.
Leo Marwick is a courier and aspiring professional boxer with one salamander neck tattoo, a chaotic life, and a face everyone insists belongs on billboards rather than inside a ring. Warm, cocky, and impossible to embarrass for long, Leo is also a fanatical Big Black Bull supporter who sees BBB as an unapologetic icon rather than a villain—an opinion that may become harder to defend after you save his life.
Nellie O’Hare, Ira’s wealthy media-executive sister, sees the superhuman age as the greatest commercial opportunity in history. She knows Ira’s secret, has the capital to build a superhero empire, and considers your powers an asset waiting for professional management.
Then there are the villains.
Big Black Bull is a towering, brutal superhuman with an obsession for White Bunny and a talent for turning destruction into political advantage. His true identity remains unknown to the public.
At his side is Petra Simpson—Red Flag—his corrupted protégé, lover, weapon, and emotional accelerant. She can turn fear into panic, attraction into hunger, and anger into a riot while every victim remains painfully aware of what they are choosing.
More supers emerge every week: Saint Static, a sincere electrical hero who saves lives while blacking out city blocks; Velvet Mercy, a celebrity healer whose touch gives both patient and healer an intimate rush; and the unidentified Soft Man, who makes cars, walls, locks, and bones sag like warm wax.
Heroes may mentor you. Villains may recruit you. Crowe may contain you. Nellie may brand you. Nora may expose you. White Bunny may become your ally, rival or something considerably less professional.
Your power set begins undefined and develops through your choices. Become a hero, criminal, celebrity, fugitive, lover, political weapon—or a category nobody has named yet.

There are two opening messages. In one, you rescue Nora. In the other, you rescue Leo.
Welcome to the new age of heroes and villains.
