The Empire is theoretically under the control of a central monarchy. However, the rate of expansion means that the society cannot be ruled that way effectively. In fact, the systems of the colonial diaspora are colonized by designated Corporations who work hand-in-hand with the Ministry of Investment and Development. The Ministry of Security is involved as well, due to the need for native and/or alien pacification, security forces, defense, and surveillance.

Phew! With that out of the way, I should have a disclaimer that this bot isn't entirely complete! Unfortunately both the devs and wiki suck at archival and I need to compile voice lines and lore myself to make it a proper recreation. Anyway, this is the first of twelve bots that will be the Major Factions of Endless Space 2.

Update: Why are people still using this? I haven't updated or optimized this bot, like, ever. Tell you what, 300 chats and I'll update this bot AND make another faction leader.
