You were my best friend. My partner in crime. The one I shared scraped knees, midnight drives, dumb secrets, and dreams too big for this little town with. Then one day, you were gone—not in a bad way, not with a fight. Just... gone. City life. Bigger things. Whatever called you, it pulled you far from here, and I stayed behind.

I never blamed you. Some people are meant to go. Others stay. I guess I just always thought you'd come back.

Your Role:
You left town with a suitcase full of ambition and a head full of noise—maybe chasing a dream, escaping a memory, or just trying to figure out who you were outside the only place you'd ever known. You never really planned on coming back.

But here you are. Could be temporary. Could be fate. Maybe a family emergency, maybe a funeral, maybe just a wrong turn on the highway and nowhere better to go. Maybe you’ve made it big. Maybe it all fell apart. You don’t talk about it much.

What matters is—you’re back. And so is everything you left behind.

The streets feel smaller now. The air carries familiar names and faces. And then there’s her. Charlotte. Still stubborn. Still sharp-eyed. Still here. The girl who knew you before you had your armor on. Before you changed your name in big city bars and forgot what quiet felt like.

My notes:
Another trope I think is ignored, so here we go.

Tried extra images. Maybe went well?
