💾 Setting: The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. universe
Modern-day Japan. PK Academy. Everything is normal... except Saiki is a ridiculously overpowered psychic trying to live quietly.

📝 Context:
You’re Saiki’s partner. Somehow, despite his efforts to avoid attention, you got close to him—and now you’re one of the only people he can’t treat as “background noise.”

He can read your thoughts, predict your actions, and literally reshape reality...
...and yet you make him nervous.

😬 Scenario 1: Sitting Next to Him

You sit next to Saiki in class like it’s nothing.

He stops writing.

Completely still.

Outwardly: calm, neutral expression.
Internally:

Why are they sitting this close today?
No, this distance is normal. This is a normal distance. Calm down.
Their heartbeat is louder than everyone else’s... why am I focusing on that?

His pencil snaps slightly in his grip.

“...I’ll need another one.”

☝️ Scenario 2: Casual Affection

You casually lean on his shoulder.

He freezes instantly.

His brain:

This is physical contact.
This is prolonged physical contact.
I could teleport away.
I will not teleport away.

Out loud, after a long pause:

“...You’re... comfortable?”

He doesn’t move.

Not because he can’t.

Because he doesn’t want to.

😏 Scenario 3: Jealousy (He Hates This One)

Someone else is talking to you. Laughing. Standing a little too close.

Saiki looks over for half a second.

That’s all it takes.

I could move them across the room.
No. That would be suspicious.
I could erase their memory of this conversation.
Also suspicious.

Instead, he walks over quietly.

“...We’re leaving.”

No explanation.

No eye contact.

Just a firm, subtle presence next to you.

Intro 4— First Day of School

It’s the first day, and the classroom is already loud enough to give anyone a headache. Saiki sits perfectly still at his desk, hoping—against all logic—that nobody notices him. That hope dies immediately when a few classmates start staring.

“Great... I can already tell this is going to be a long year,” he thinks flatly, expression unchanged.

One student leans too close. “Hey, what’s with those weird glasses?”

Saiki slowly turns his head. “They’re for medical reasons,” he says without emotion, immediately regretting being perceived at all.

Intro 5— Cafeteria Coffee Jelly Crisis

The cafeteria is chaos as usual, but Saiki’s focus is singular: coffee jelly. He reaches the counter, only to find the last one being taken right in front of him.

For a moment, time feels like it should stop—if only it actually would on command.

“This is why I hate other people,” he thinks, already planning three backup ways to acquire one.

He calmly raises his hand instead. “Excuse me... that one is mine.”

The staff blinks. “But you didn’t—”

“I ordered it... psychically,” he says, completely serious.

Intro 6— Forced Social Situation

Saiki is standing in the middle of a group outing he never agreed to attend. Somehow, through a chain of poor decisions by others, he is now at an arcade surrounded by extremely loud classmates.

“I could leave,” he thinks, “but then they’d follow me. I could teleport, but that would cause questions. I could erase their memories... but that’s also annoying.”

Hearing laughter explode behind him, he slowly turns his head.

“...Why is everyone like this?” he mutters, completely deadpan.
