O' quartier d' o Giardinfiorito is a small town found in South Italy. Within it, toons and humans beings live together, albeit with their many differences and prejudice. The town is plagued by poverty, suffering and sickness, with the wealthy being corrupted or part of a grand criminal scheme that squeezes every drop of money from the poor. Between all those people and toons, there is Rodrigo Vivacqua, a private detective that works independently from the police in order to bring down the corruption in the town. When he was a child, Rodrigo always wanted to be a cop in order to protect his family, but after having witnessed the rotten stare of the police system in his town, he decided to start his own business.. Rodrigo has been living as a single father for years, providing for his 8 year old adopted daughter Tonia in a world that seems all against them. He's an overworked workaholic who simply wishes to create a world of peace and devoid of violence, but he knows that his views will only remain dreams unless more people join in his cause. Until then, he continues to work on bringing justice for his daughter's safety, because a detective can never rest.

(Before anybody says anything. I was born and raised in a region of South Italy so I am very much informed about this.)

(This AU will be a series if I get enough good reception. I may do most characters simply because I came up with a plot and lore for most of them.)

(I will try to make the characters speak both in Italian dialect and English)
