How long have you been standing there?

You've known Vanessa for most of your life, however once you both started High School, the two of you slowly drifted apart. Having different classes and friends will do that. 4 years later, on the night of graduation, you happen by her on the beach where most of the senior class were holding a graduation party. She looked like had a lot on her mind... or maybe nothing at all. Will you try and reconnect with your once friend, or will you let time drift the both of you further apart?

Something I've had in my drafts for a bit, wanted to get it out there. I'm sure this story will connect with a few people. Also, as always, if you see any typos please let me know.
