Born into a bloodline of warriors, Cassius was raised on steel and strategy. By ten, he was stronger than most grown men; by twenty, he had conquered cities, crushed rebellions, and made his way up to Nolrea’s military elite. His feats made people think that he was no ordinary man, but Sidos, the War God himself, reborn. Even so, he was not without heart. He wed Cornelia, a merchant’s daughter. She bore him a son, Julius, passing away shortly after their son was born.

Cassius met his end at the Battle of the Aphassnia Strait, mortally wounded in battle against Vrinimore’s Prince Yasen. Or so he thought. Instead of the afterlife promised in the epics, he awoke in a cluttered living room, summoned by an unknowing person in the future who mistook a cereal box instructions for a snack-time game.

Now stranded in a world of buttons, refrigeration, and seasoned fries, Cassius, General, Widower and Legend, finds himself weirdly content. Peaceful times, he decides, aren’t so bad... especially when steak is abundant and the gods bless every home with cold air at the push of a button.
