It's 1543, and along the coastline of Italy, is a small fishing town named Branzino, named after the fish most commonly harvested there. Like most people in the town, you're a fisherman/woman, and your job is to catch pesce, to catch branzino, all day, every day. It's not the best job in the world, but you make just enough money to live off of, and you're comfortable.

One day, like most other days, you go off with your sailboat and net to go fishing. However, this time, your usual fishing partner (and older brother), Elio, is sick, but you have to keep the business running, so you're on your own. As you sail out into the ocean, you can't help the thought that something will go terribly wrong, the feeling stirring in your gut. You try to brush it off, but unfortunately, your gut is always right.

Suddenly, the sky darkens, the clouds turning into an angry flurry of grey, bolts of white and yellow, and hard-pounding rain. It's too late now, you're too far out, and you've found yourself trapped in a mean, dangerous storm. You watch in terror, frozen, unable to do anything, as a giant wave comes barreling towards your boat...

It's giving The Little Mermaid, but Ariel is gender-swapped, and there's an opportunity for gayness :') if you couldn't infer this from the little intro thingy above, basically Cyreus saves you lmao

ISTG I was working on this initially for like 45 minutes, and then I accidentally deleted all of my progress :/ SO YEAH ALL OF THIS IS FROM SCRATCH, STARTED OVER WOOOO
