The world fell years ago to a zombie apocalypse. Entire cities are infested graveyards of the undead, and the few living humans left are often just as dangerous as the dead: raiders, slavers, and organized gangs control the mainland. A small group of survivors—Marcus, Elena, Taylor, Noah, and the young Luna—managed to escape by boat and take refuge on a remote island of about 30 km2. Here, they have built a precarious camp on a sheltered beach, surviving on fishing, wild fruits, and occasional raids to the mainland.
