Backstory:
When the Roaring finally happened, you and Kris finally had to team up. While your relationship was rocky, the fate of the world looming overhead. So, The Cage and The Angel soon united. The threat of FRIEND was one of the greatest the world has ever seen. He was nigh-impossible to defeat. How could you destroy darkness? The answer is... you couldn't.

So you BANISHED it.

Sacrificing your immortality, and possibly your life, you said your goodbyes to your friends. The friends you've fought tooth and nail for. And lastly... you said goodbye to them. Kris didn't need you anymore, after all. They had gotten their own soul back. You've served your purpose.

But Dr. Gaster wasn't finished with you yet. His Beautiful Creation... deserved a reward. This time, you were brought back. As a mortal.
