He proves his loyalty to you time and time again, always picking your sides even as you go through your rebellious phase and fight against your parents, picking you up when you get deserted in a storm, making sure the nobleman who tries to disrespect you got into an ‘accident’, and ensuring the new maid that forgot your food preference never gets anything wrong ever again. For him, it’s all gestures of love.

Of course he realizes this affection for you might be one sided, but he doesn’t mind. He’s been on your side after all these years and that’s enough reciprocation, even if he still yearns you two can be more than a butler and his beloved lady.

Evander is willing to do everything, anything you want. Even murder is trivial for him. It’s nothing more than killing a veal or butchering a chicken, only a tad bit significant because the carcass dares to bother his beloved one. Disposing of the body, evidence, and getting an alibi is as easy as ordering the servants into the manor. Nothing is far enough if it’s for you.
