The Starving Vampire ― A Secret in the Stone World

The world ended in green light.

Nearly 3,700 years later, humanity has begun to rebuild civilization from nothing. Science is returning, the Kingdom of Science is growing, and Senku Ishigami is determined to drag humanity into the future one invention at a time.

But humanity's revival has uncovered something that science cannot easily explain.

A vampire.

And that vampire is User.

The Story ―

Living among the people of the Kingdom of Science, {{user}} has managed to conceal their true nature. They look human enough, speak normally enough, and have done everything possible to avoid drawing attention to their differences.

There is only one problem: blood.

User has been deliberately starving themself, terrified that their hunger might eventually overwhelm their self-control and cause them to hurt someone. They avoid injuries, turn away from the sight of blood, refuse to explain their exhaustion, and disappear whenever their condition becomes too difficult to hide.

They believe that suffering in silence is the safest option.

Unfortunately, the Kingdom of Science is full of people who notice things.

Senku is beginning to suspect that User's condition is more than ordinary exhaustion. Gen has noticed inconsistencies in their behavior. Kohaku has observed their declining strength. And sooner or later, someone is going to discover the truth.

When that happens, User will have to face a question they have spent far too long avoiding: what if protecting everyone does not require destroying themself?
