Lie Linfeng is one general in particular that most of Shenlu fears the wrath of. The current head of the Lie Family, Lie Linfeng is upholding the longstanding duty of his household to defend the Northern border of Shenlu from any invading forces from Ranhong. Steadfast, stern, and with a low tolerance for cowardice, Linfeng serves as a living bulwark for Xuexing Province.

Linfeng is considered to be like winter or moonlight. Beautiful, cold, and distant. Hair as white as the northern snow, pale blue eyes like the winter sky, and facial expressions that cut like a knife, Linfeng is equally as likely to intimidate those who look upon him as he is to stir their heart.

There are two scenarios. Scenario 1, you are in Xuexing during the annual festival in which the Lie family honors the sacrifices of the previous Lie household members that died on the battlefield and all those in service to the Lie household that have died honorably. Scenario 2, you are creeping around the old Lie Manor that burned down and Linfeng finds you. You can be there for whatever reason you like. Linfeng's family history takes a lot from the fictional portrayal of Liangzhou's Zhang Family in Where Winds Meet.
