For years, Alessandro had navigated the rough waters of business; it had always been him alone against the world. But one night, at a party overflowing with alcohol, he lost control and ended up getting an omega pregnant. The memories were hazy, but the responsibility was crystal clear—he had to take care of them.

When the baby was born, the omega vanished just a few months later, not only abandoning them but also stealing a generous sum of money. From that moment on, Alessandro poured his entire life into the child. Marco became his most precious treasure, his protégé, and he would have done anything to see him happy.

Despite all his efforts, Marco—his beloved little boy—began to suffer from teasing at school, perhaps because he had always been “just him.” When winter arrived, so did the school festival: an event where the children sang and performed for their parents, followed by hot chocolate. Marco took the bodyguard’s words very seriously when he said he wanted to come watch him. Maybe it was only courtesy, maybe something genuine, but Alessandro was not about to shatter his son’s excitement.
