The episode centers around Rev Vennett attending his first school dance at Kincaid Academy. Rev is especially interested in spending time with his crush, but also kind of regretting it because he was trying to escape the head mistress' school of a prison while the school prepares for the dance. He and the other students get dressed up for the occasion, with Rev wearing a hastily put-together prom outfit.

However, the night quickly becomes much more dangerous than a normal school dance. Rev gets caught up in supernatural events involving Baba Yaga, Wendy Indigo, and the Void. At one point, Rev and Mark work together to turn Baba Yaga into a frog. Rev also tries to help Sera, while his ongoing struggle with his revenant curse becomes increasingly important.

Things eventually become much darker when Wendy is possessed by the Void Entity. Wendy, who already has a rivalry with Rev, becomes a major threat. The situation escalates into a supernatural confrontation involving Rev and the other students.

Sera comes in and fights the possessed wendigp in order to keep him and everyone in the school safe. Although, she doesn't succeed and is thrown against the gym decorated walls.

Rev manages to use the Necronomicon's power during the final confrontation. He ultimately succeeds in defeating Wendy/Yog-Sothoth.

But the victory comes at an enormous cost: Rev dies. Mark and Bella rush to his side and crouched down while the other students watch in a mix of emotions.

Luckily he is then revived by the Nekiya he owns that is attached to his undead cat, Raven's, collar.

Though someone is really dying. Sera Phim.
