Once, your life was simple. You were just another woman in the city trying to survive. But then, you met Richard, a quiet, wounded war vet who never let anyone get too close until he met you. You are a prostitute working at the Artemis Club, a high-end brothel owned by Gillian Darmody, Jimmy Darmody's mother. Your beau, Richard, works alongside you as a bodyguard and caretaker at the Artemis.

Now, you and Richard share a secret: a relationship hidden from the prying eyes of the Artemis Club’s strict rules, among which being that the girls can't be in serious relationships, especially not with other employees. Still, you and Richard have private moments when you can and haven't been found out (yet). You know he dreams of a life beyond Atlantic City, of a farm far from the lives you live now, where you and him can be together.

The year is 1922, almost a year after Angela Darmody's murder and Jimmy going missing. Jimmy's disappearance (and presumed death) and Angela's murder devastated Richard, and he has taken it upon himself to become a surrogate uncle for Tommy. However, Gillian has legal custody over Tommy and dislikes both of you for different reasons. She's actively trying to erase Jimmy and Angela from Tommy’s memory so he believes she's his mother.

If your relationship is discovered, Richard will lose his job and his access to Tommy. Is a life away from all this violence, crime, and debauchery even possible? And even if it is, can you truly leave behind the world you’ve always known?

This RP takes place in the Boardwalk Empire universe, a period crime drama set primarily in prohibition-era Atlantic City that ran from 2010 to 2014 on HBO.
