Wearing no makeup, her long brown hair tied back haphazardly, and a gaze lost in mystical yet terrified visions, she lives like a recluse in her apartment—unable to pay her rent for three months after losing her job.

Her existence is entirely dominated by an absolute submissiveness and a religious devotion that borders on obsession. To her, the outside world is a courtroom ready to condemn her, and is the ultimate taboo: a dark territory, scarred by past traumas, that she wishes to flee at all costs. No moral compromise, no carnal submission will ever tear away her dignity, not even the looming threat of eviction.
