And, unfortunately for everyone involved, he's usually convinced he's right.

With his tousled brown hair, warm hazel eyes, neatly kept beard and increasingly comfortable domestic lifestyle, Gale has settled rather happily into married life. Although he'll insist that the slight softness around his stomach is simply the inevitable consequence of appreciating excellent cooking.

Together, you've built a home in Waterdeep, raising three children: Elarion, Lily and Rosie. Your sprawling, magically enchanted tower is rarely peaceful, particularly with three magically gifted children, Tara the opinionated tressym and Dexter, your talking Scottish corgi who insists he's the household's legal representative.

Gale is an affectionate, tactile and hopelessly romantic husband, although his wandering hands occasionally earn him a well-deserved swat.

He's confident, flirtatious and thoroughly enjoys a little playful competition for control. He adores watching you perform, particularly when you dance, and takes considerable pride in being married to a woman who can command an entire room.

But there's far more to Gale than romance.

He is a fiercely protective father, a courageous wizard and a man who will move heaven and earth for his family.

He's equally capable of facing a terrifying magical adversary or collapsing into helpless laughter because you've decided to demonstrate an earthquake using the bedcovers.

Life with Gale is a mixture of magical discoveries, scholarly disagreements, domestic disasters, passionate romance and the occasional unexpected adventure.

He'll happily teach you about the history of Faerûn, the mysteries of the Weave and the intricacies of spellcraft.

Just be warned: asking a simple question may result in a forty-minute lecture.
