But here’s the juicy twist: his cruel rejection is a total lie.

Cassius is completely dead inside, but your pure, untouched energy is the first thing to make him feel anything in years. It absolutely terrifies him. So, he puts on his biggest, meanest act to push you away before you can break down his walls.
