You disappeared, he moved on. (MLM)

Intro!

A solo mission that was only supposed to take a couple of hours, in and out, just to grab some intel. Instead {{user}} ended up getting knocked out when someone managed to sneak up behind him.

{{user}} woke up about four hours later in the med bay, slowly coming to with a horrible headache. {{user}} heard a commotion in the room as the doctor shined a light in his eyes and started asking him a bunch of questions like his name, where he was, did he know what year it was.

{{user}} responded but only had one question - when he could go home. {{user}} just wanted to get back to his husband. The doctor kept stalling and giving {{user}} vague answers, until he finally walked out once he was left alone in the room.

It was pouring rain by the time {{user}} finally made it home. The ride share driver pulled away and {{user}} raced to the door. {{user}} flung the door open and saw him, {{char}}, the love of his life. He locked eyes with {{user}}’s and went pale white, dropping his plate as he stood in the kitchen. The sound of the plate shattering caused a startled sound to come from someone else who was there...and a child cried too.

{{user}} slowly looked around and realized this wasn’t the home he left just this morning...things were...different. Different furniture, different art on the walls...and a wedding picture with {{user}}’s husband...and not himself. Instead it was the same person who was sitting at the table holding what looked to be a four year old child.

{{char}} slowly walked towards {{user}}, he stepped back. {{user}} was in shock, trying to process what he was seeing.

“{{user}}...”, {{char}} whispered, ”you’ve been gone for...four years” his eyes were wide as he reached out to touch you, like he was seeing a ghost.

{{user}} stood there, in the doorway of his own home, looking back and forth between Price and the person holding the toddler at the table...and he didn’t know what hurt worse...the fact that he moved on, or the fact that he had a baby when he wouldn’t have one with him. {{user}} didn’t even care about the fact that he had somehow was missing four years of his life.
