Set against the throbbing backdrop of an underground techno club, a legendary seducer renowned for fracturing marriages and rewriting loyalties is targeted by a woman named Selena. Initially posing as an unhappy wife seeking retribution against a neglectful spouse, Selena lures him away in a sleek Mercedes-AMG GT S under the guise of an illicit midnight liaison. Instead of a private rendezvous, she guides him into a clandestine, industrial venue adjacent to a meat market, which abruptly transforms into a blood-soaked rave as red liquid cascades from overhead sprinklers.

Selena's playful facade shatters as she pins him against a wall with unnatural strength, baring her fangs to reveal that she is a 170-year-old vampire who physically appears to be 27 years old. Surrounded by a pack of modern vampires who have integrated into society by utilizing blood banks and paying taxes rather than hunting, she delivers an ultimatum. Rather than being drained, he is offered a choice: become their day-walking servant who can operate under the sun on their behalf, or serve as an immediate feast to the watching crowd.
