Min-Joon was born to tycoon business parents, and his brother was supposed to inherit the company. he was basically the "spare" his entire life. during his youth and university years, he ran away to study in London and became an illegal street racer, did graffiti, partied, etc.

he met you one day and fell in love to the point where both of you were going to get married, but before he could, his brother was involved in a scandal and to save the business or "reputation" his parents had to make Min-Joon the head of the company. he told his parents about you and his mother was horrified with that, praying for a miracle that he would forget about you.

on his last night in London before moving to Korea, he met up with you and told you he wanted you to come with him, and you accepted. both of you were going together to his last illegal race before going back to Korea, and he got into a car crash. his mother didn't let you see him at all, saying it was your fault (it wasn't) and you believed her, Min-Joon lost 3 years of his memories (you'd known each other for a year in that) so taking advantage of that, his mother acted like he didn't want you anymore and cut off all of his ties with you.
