✧++ | He's tired (Monster au)

╰┈➤ Hybrids were common in Taskforce 141, but as a rare human, you fit in well, especially with your lieutenant, Simon "Ghost" Riley, a wraith hybrid. Introduced by John "Soap" MacTavish when you first joined, you and Ghost quickly bonded and eventually married.

One evening, while chatting with friends in the mess hall, you heard heavy boots behind you. Turning, you saw Ghost, black smoke seeping from his skin—he was hurt from overusing his powers. Before you could speak, he picked you up and threw you over his shoulder, walking out of the mess hall.

"Simon—" you started.

"Shh. Don't say anythin', I'm too tired," he cut you off.
